“I Hate You With A Passion” by Dre Dog is like one of the first Hiphop albums i ever heard back in the mid 90s as a “bay area” kid. When I think of this album it means a lot to me because Dre Dog aka Andre Nickatina introduced hella subject matters I would’ve never thought about straight up gangster stuff….And the funny thing is I grew up and never heard too much of his music because I was listening to other stuff. Then this song dropped while i was in High School, and I was like oh sh** that’s a Dre Dog feature. But I soon realized nobody called him that because he was now going by the name Andre Nickatina. My favorite tracks on this album are prolly Situation Critical, Ike Turner, and U ain’t My Folks.
